The choice fell on the \u201c<strong>Engaged CSR<\/strong>\u201d label from <strong>AFNOR<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\t<!-- \/zone:zn_pagebanner [0] --><br \/>\n<!-- zone:zn_text [1] --><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The \u201cEngaged CSR\u201d label in a few words<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The \u201cEngaged CSR\u201d label has been issued since <strong>2010<\/strong> by <strong>AFNOR Certification<\/strong>, a leading third-party certification organization in France. This label is based on the <strong>ISO 26000 standard<\/strong>, the only international reference established by consensus on the <strong>social responsibility<\/strong> of organizations.<\/p>\n<p>It is also consistent with the main international standards (<strong>Global Compact<\/strong>, <strong>GRI Standards<\/strong>, <strong>United Nations Sustainable Development Goals<\/strong>, etc.). The \u201cEngaged CSR\u201d label is structured into <strong>5 chapters<\/strong> for evaluating the company\u2019s CSR practices (managerial practices, production and consumption, local anchoring) and <strong>3 chapters<\/strong> for CSR results (economic, social\/societal and environmental). These are <strong>54 criteria<\/strong> which are examined in the field by an evaluator who comes to meet employees and stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t<!-- \/zone:zn_text [1] --><br \/>\n<!-- zone:zn_text [2] --><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The first certified concrete manufacturer!<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-12781\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rector.fr\/wp-inside\/uploads\/2023\/02\/rse_confirme_rvb.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"247\" \/><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We know that there is still a long way to go, but we are proud to have obtained the \u201cCSR Committed\u201d label for our <strong>1st evaluation<\/strong> with the \u201cConfirmed\u201d level, which is the <strong>3rd level<\/strong> on a scale from <strong>1 to 4<\/strong> (the <strong>4th<\/strong> level being that of <strong>exemplarity<\/strong>). This distinction rewards the commitment of management and the significant efforts made by all employees over the last two years on all subjects relating to CSR. Obtaining this label is only a first step, because the stakes are high, there are many avenues for progress and we will therefore continue our efforts with <strong>humility<\/strong>, but <strong>determination<\/strong> in a logic of <strong>continuous improvement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t<!-- \/zone:zn_text [2] --><br \/>\n<!-- zone:zn_text [3] --><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The rest of the journey!<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In addition to our axes and all the actions already put in place, we have established commitments for <strong>2025<\/strong> and <strong>2030<\/strong>. This allows us to stay focused on the <strong>exemplarity<\/strong> that we are aiming for!<\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the actions on which we will continue our work in the coming months and years:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Low carbon and biosourced concrete<\/li>\n<li>Reducing energy consumption<\/li>\n<li>Sustainable mobility<\/li>\n<li>Treatment of water used in our factories<\/li>\n<li>Waste sorting<\/li>\n<li>A survey on well-being at work with an action plan<\/li>\n<li>Combatting discrimination<\/li>\n<li>A sponsorship strategy<\/li>\n<li>Inventorying and sharing our practices that promote local roots<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\t\t\t<!-- \/zone:zn_text [3] -->\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In order to structure and give credibility to our CSR approach undertaken since 2021, the group&rsquo;s management wanted to engage in a labeling process.
